Successful completion of our first major vocational training project

From February to October 2016 GRIFID VET Center has been partner of the Bulgarian Industrial Association –Union of the Bulgarian Business in the completion of the project “Quality Labor Force- Stable Labor Market”.

380 Cooks, Pastry-cooks, Waiters, Bartenders and Chambermaids have graduated from the courses and received Certificates of Vocational Qualification. About 20% of the graduates have been employed by GRIFID Hotel chain and practiced their new professions for three months. As a follow –up activity, part of the graduates have chosen to develop their experience by engaging in a second training course, providing a second certificate of qualification, related to tourism and hospitality.

Our main conclusion:

To learn from the leading teams and to train in a real working environment is the best way for the development of professional knowledge, skills and competences. And a real challenge and chance too.
